This 3-in-1 cooling solution provides a direct-fit replacement for the Kia Sportage’s factory system. Each part in this kit is imported and manufactured to meet or exceed OEM standards for durability and performance.
Aluminum Core Radiator: A lightweight yet heavy-duty radiator with high-density cooling fins designed for maximum heat transfer.
Precision Thermostat: A high-accuracy valve that opens at the precise factory-set temperature (typically $82^{\circ}\text{C}$ or $88^{\circ}\text{C}$) to ensure optimal fuel economy and engine protection.
Reinforced Thermostat Flange: A heat-resistant housing designed to withstand constant thermal expansion and contraction without cracking or leaking.
Compatibility: Kia Sportage (fits various models, including Gen 3 and Gen 4 — please verify your specific year).
Material: High-grade Aluminum (Radiator), Stainless Steel (Thermostat), and PA66-GF30 Reinforced Polymer or Cast Aluminum (Flange).
Origin: High-quality Imported (China).
Prevent Engine Overheating: A new radiator and thermostat ensure that heat is dissipated quickly, protecting your engine from catastrophic failure during long hauls or in heavy traffic.
Fuel Efficiency: By maintaining the engine’s “sweet spot” temperature, this kit helps the ECU optimize fuel injection, saving you money at the pump.
Leak-Proof Reliability: Replacing the flange (housing) along with the thermostat eliminates the most common point of coolant leaks in Kia engines.
Cost-Effective Quality: Get the same performance and fitment as expensive local dealership parts at a fraction of the cost.
Warning: Never attempt to open the cooling system while the engine is hot. Wait at least 1 hour after driving.
System Flush: Drain the old coolant by opening the radiator drain petcock.
Component Removal: Remove the cooling fans and disconnect the upper/lower radiator hoses. Unscrew the thermostat flange bolts to remove the old housing and thermostat.
Clean Surfaces: Thoroughly clean the engine block mounting surface where the flange attaches to ensure a perfect seal.
Install New Parts: Place the new thermostat into the block, followed by the new flange. Bolt them down evenly. Slide the new radiator into the factory mounting brackets.
Refill & Bleed: Reconnect all hoses. Fill the system with high-quality coolant. Start the engine and let it run with the cap off for 10-15 minutes to “bleed” out any trapped air bubbles.
“The Kia Sportage engine is built for performance, but it relies heavily on its cooling system. A single crack in a plastic flange or a stuck thermostat can lead to an expensive engine rebuild. This imported kit offers a proactive, high-quality solution to keep your SUV on the road longer.”
