This Premium Cooling System Kit for the Changan Alsvin is a high-performance maintenance package featuring an Imported Radiator, Thermostat, and Thermostat Flange (Housing). Specifically designed for the Alsvin’s 1.3L and 1.5L BlueCore engines, this kit ensures your vehicle stays cool and efficient under the most demanding driving conditions.
The Changan Alsvin relies on a high-precision cooling loop to maintain its fuel efficiency and engine health. This kit provides a complete replacement for the three most vulnerable parts of that system. Each component is imported and manufactured to meet or exceed original equipment (OE) standards.
Aluminum Core Radiator: Constructed with high-grade aluminum and reinforced tanks, it offers superior heat exchange capabilities to keep engine temperatures stable.
Precision-Tuned Thermostat: Features a high-sensitivity thermal element that opens at the exact factory-specified temperature to prevent engine overheating or sluggish performance.
Durable Thermostat Flange (Housing): Made from premium cast alloy or high-temp polymer, this flange provides a rock-solid, leak-proof connection between your engine and the radiator hoses.
Compatibility: Changan Alsvin (1.3L & 1.5L Lumiere/DCT variants).

Professional installation is recommended, but for DIY enthusiasts, follow these steps when the engine is completely cold:
Drain: Locate the drain valve at the bottom of the radiator and empty the old coolant into a drain pan.
Disconnect: Remove the upper and lower radiator hoses. Unplug the radiator fan connector and remove the radiator assembly.
Thermostat Swap: Unscrew the bolts on the thermostat flange. Remove the old flange and thermostat.
Install: Place the new thermostat into the housing, ensuring the gasket is seated correctly. Mount the new flange and tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
Radiator Setup: Slide the new radiator into place and reconnect all hoses and fans.
Refill & Bleed: Fill with a 50/50 coolant mix. Start the engine with the radiator cap off to allow air bubbles to escape (bleeding the system) until the cooling fan kicks on.
