This high-performance cooling kit is a direct-fit replacement for the Honda Civic’s engine cooling system. The kit includes:
Aluminum Core Radiator: Features high-density fins for maximum heat dissipation and a reinforced plastic tank to resist cracking.
Engine Thermostat: A precision-calibrated valve that regulates the flow of coolant to prevent engine overheating or overcooling.
Thermostat Flange / Housing: A durable, heat-resistant housing that connects the radiator hose to the engine block, ensuring a leak-proof seal for the thermostat.
Compatibility: Honda Civic (specify years, e.g., 2001–2005, 2006–2011, or 2016–2021).
Source: High-quality imported parts from China.
Material: High-grade aluminum (Radiator), Stainless steel (Thermostat), and PA66-GF30 reinforced plastic or Aluminum (Flange).
Optimized Engine Temperature: Ensures your engine reaches its ideal operating temperature quickly and stays there, which improves fuel efficiency and reduces engine wear.
Leak Prevention: Replacing the flange and thermostat together ensures a perfect seal, preventing common coolant leaks that lead to costly repairs.
Superior Cooling Power: The high-efficiency radiator design is built to handle high-temperature environments, making it ideal for daily driving and heavy traffic.
Direct Fit (OEM Spec): No modifications required. Each part is designed to match the original factory mounting points and hose connections.
Note: It is highly recommended to replace these parts when the engine is completely cold.
Drain the System: Locate the drain plug at the bottom of the radiator and drain the old coolant into a pan.
Remove Old Components: Disconnect the upper and lower radiator hoses. Unscrew the bolts holding the thermostat flange and remove the old thermostat.
Install the Thermostat: Place the new thermostat into the engine block. Ensure the “jiggle valve” (if present) is pointing upward to allow air to escape.
Mount the Flange: Place the new flange over the thermostat and tighten the bolts evenly to ensure a secure, leak-free seal.
Install the Radiator: Slide the new radiator into the mounting brackets and reconnect all hoses and sensors.
Refill & Bleed: Fill the system with a 50/50 mix of coolant and distilled water. Start the engine with the radiator cap off to “bleed” out any air bubbles until the cooling fan kicks on.
“Always replace the thermostat and its housing (flange) at the same time. The plastic or aluminum housing can warp or develop micro-cracks over time, and a new thermostat is only effective if the housing provides a perfect, airtight seal.”
